Registration begins for annual dodgeball tourney in Fort St. John
Fort St. John’s dodgeball tourney will feature awards for the top three teams and several categories on Saturday, March 7th, 2026.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The time has come for battle lines to be drawn, and teams to be chosen as the city gets ready to see who will step up to compete for dodgeball supremacy.
Registration has begun for the City of Fort St. John’s annual dodgeball tournament, set to take place in early March at the Kids Arena Fieldhouse.
A Facebook post from the city’s recreation department is urging participants to “get ready for a full day of fast throws, big laughs and friendly competition.”
The day-long tournament will also have prizes awarded for the top three teams, and special trophies for most sportsmanlike, most enthusiastic and best dressed.
While co-ed teams are encouraged, it is not a requirement. Rosters should be at least six players, with a max of eight players.
Additionally, a 50/50 draw, along with a concession booth and beer garden, will be organized by the North Peace Gymnastics Association.
Proceeds for both the booth, draw and beer garden will benefit the club, as well as half the registration fees.

“We have so much fun with this one. It is really great to do something with a big group of adults, since our organization works mainly with kids.”
The marathon dodgeball session takes place on Saturday, March 7th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Kids Arena Fieldhouse at 9615 96th Avenue in Fort St. John.
