It is the start of Fort St. John’s new Winter Fest today – the reimagined High on Ice festival.

Rather than a single weekend, there are now events throughout the whole of February, such as the School District 60 Band’s Winter Carnival starting on the 6th. It’s not all change though, as ice carving and the popular slides are still centrepieces of the fun.
