FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A vehicle incident has closed the road to Rose Prairie.

According to Drive BC, a vehicle incident has closed Rose Prairie Road between 256 Road and 260 Road.

A detour is in effect through 256 Road onto 267 Road to 260 Road. 

Dawson Road Maintenance shared a post on its Facebook page at approximately 10:30 a.m. on January 27th saying the incident happened near the 256 intersection.

BC Emergency Health Service received a call about the motor vehicle incident at 7.45 a.m. 

One ambulance with emergency medical responders provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
