Fort St. John RCMP officers collect bottles and cans to raise funds for local cat charity

The North Peace Forgotten Felines Society has received a donation of over $670 from the Fort St. John RCMP detachment towards the care of feral cats.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP has donated $670 to the North Peace Forgotten Felines Society. 

According to a press release released on December 31st by the RCMP detachment, funds will help with its efforts to care for feral cats. 

This is due to the efforts of Jose Fornelli, Fort St. John RCMP detention services supervisor, who collects bottles and cans every year from local detachment members.

She recycles them to raise funds to donate to a local charity. 

The money was presented to Marion Bergman, a volunteer at the North Peace Forgotten Feline Society.
