Taylor Public Library board looks to appoint two new trustees
The District of Taylor is looking to appoint two people to fill trustee vacancies on the Taylor Public Library board for the term until November 30th, 2027.

TAYLOR, B.C. — The District of Taylor is looking for applications to fill two trustee vacancies on the Taylor Public Library board.
The district uploaded a Facebook post on the district’s page to announce the vacant positions on December 30th.
It is seeking to appoint two people to fill the trustee position until November 30th, 2027.
This comes after the board appointed two people to become new board members last year as well.
The Taylor Public Library is led by a five-member library board which includes four people from the community and one councillor.
The board makes decisions for the library by creating its own policies and procedures for day-to-day operations.
The library is funded by provincial grants and it gets a budget allowance from the District of Taylor.

The two new appointees will attend meetings held once a month at the board’s discretion.
The District of Taylor approves all appointments to the board.
People interested in applying can submit a letter to the library, drop it off at the district office or email Kimberly Westgate at kwesgate@districtoftaylor.com.
The positions will remain open until filled.
