Warrant issued for 28-year-old charged after stabbing incident in Fort St. John

A warrant has been issued for Kayla Breeze Trudeau. She was charged after a stabbing incident in Fort St. John in August 2025.

FORT ST. JOHN B.C. —  A warrant has been issued for a person charged after a stabbing incident in the city. 

Kayla Breeze Trudeau, 28, faces charges of assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon for dangerous purpose and assault causing bodily harm. 

According to Court Services Online, Trudeau was due to have an arraignment hearing on November 3rd. The court issued a warrant at the hearing.

This comes after RCMP officers responded to a man being stabbed in the chest on August 28th at 1:46 p.m. in a parking lot near the corner of 99th Avenue and 100th Street. 

The male victim was taken to hospital with what officers described as “non-life-threatening injuries.”

Trudeau was arrested on the same day.
