(UPDATE) Power back on northwest of Fort St. John after downed wire incident

Update, October 27th, 1 p.m.: BC Hydro has restored the power.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A downed wire has caused a power cut northwest of Fort St. John.
Fifty-four BC Hydro customers lost power at 5:10 a.m. this morning (October 27th) due to the incident.
BC Hydro crews are currently at the site, which covers from Highlands Subdivision to West Creek Road and Upper Halfway Road, according to its ‘outage map.’

The utility estimates the power will be restored by 10:30 a.m.
This comes as Fort St. John was blanketed in snow on Sunday, October 27th.
