Culvert replacements to cause minor delays on Peace View Hill

The work is set to last until Friday, October 24th at 5:00 p.m., in the area between Moore Pit Road and 247 Road east of Taylor.

TAYLOR, B.C. — Motorists in the Taylor area are being warned to expect some traffic slow-downs near the Peace View Hill area throughout much of October.

According to Dawson Road Maintenance — the company responsible for maintaining provincial roads in the North Peace region — culvert replacement work at the hill, along a stretch of Peaceview Road, began on Monday, October 6th.

The work is set to last until Friday, October 24th at 5:00 p.m., in the area between Moore Pit Road and 247 Road.

While the work is being done, drivers are urged to expect that portion of Peaceview Road to be intermittently reduced to single-lane alternating traffic. 

Drivers are also asked to slow down when passing crews and equipment at the scene.
