RCMP officers seek help identifying Fort St. John break-and-enter suspect

Fort St. John police were called shortly after 2 p.m. on September 22nd to a report of a man breaking into an apartment near the city’s Northern Lights College campus.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Local police officers are turning to the public for help identifying a suspect in a breaking-and-entering investigation.

According to a press release from the Fort St. John RCMP detachment, shortly after 2 p.m. on September 22nd, officers were called to a report of a man breaking into an apartment near the city’s Northern Lights College campus.

Police say frontline officers attended the scene and acquired surveillance footage which showed a suspect who has been described as a clean-shaven caucasian man standing between five-feet-nine-inches and five-feet-eleven-inches tall.

Officers also say the man weighed roughly 180 pounds and was last seen wearing baggy, tan-colored pants along with a dark hoodie and a light-colored baseball cap with a white logo. 

No further information was shared regarding his identity, but police believe he has ties to the Prince George area.

Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is urged to contact the Fort St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8100.

Meanwhile, local RCMP officers have also renewed their efforts to search for a man wanted on child porn charges last seen in Fort St. John.
