FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Water will be shut off and roads will be closed in an area of Fort St. John today.

As of 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 14th, crews in Fort St. John are repairing a water leak, resulting in a temporary water service disruption for properties along 92nd Avenue and 82nd Street.

The City of Fort St. John says there is no estimated time for service restoration, but an update is expected by 3 p.m. today.

As part of the repair work, 92nd Avenue will be closed to all but local traffic between 82nd and 86th streets.

Residents are asked to avoid entering work zones and to use alternative routes during the repairs.
