BC Coroners Service investigates death south of Taylor

The BC Coroners Service is investigating a death near Taylor over the weekend after an incident on August 10th at about 5:45 p.m.

TAYLOR, B.C. — A person has died in an incident near Taylor over the weekend.

BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) paramedic public information officer Brian Twaites told Energeticcity.ca that it received a call at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 10th, about an incident in the south Taylor area.

Two ambulances with primary care paramedics and a paramedic supervisor responded to the scene, where they provided emergency medical treatment to a patient.

The person was then transported to hospital in a critical condition, Twaites said.

The BC Coroners Service confirmed to Energeticcity.ca on Monday, August 11th that it’s investigating the death of an individual south of Taylor that occurred as a result of an ATV accident.

As the investigation remains ongoing, the Coroners Service would not share any details regarding the incident.
