The Best Hair Salons in Fort St John

In the spring of 2025, we here at Moose Media ran the North Peace People’s Choice Awards. With these awards, the people of the North Peace region voted on who was the best of the best in a wide variety of categories. You can find the full list here, but we wanted to share some of the winners and runner-ups in specific categories to help showcase the awesome businesses and organizations that make our region a great place to live.

#1: Tribe Salon Group

According to their website, Tribe Salon Group is a Kevin Murphy Concept Salon that focuses on building relationships, respect, and community. Not only were they voted the Best Hair Salon, they were also voted the Best Business in Fort St John and is home to Alex Palmer who was voted the Best Hairdresser in the 2025 North Peace People’s Choice Awards.

#2: The Hair Bin

One of the largest salons in Fort St John, the Hair Bin has over 30 qualified employees who offer a full range of services including hair styling, colouring, perms, and more. According to their website, they also offer the largest retail collection of shampoos, conditioners, hair, and skin products in the North Peace.

Established in 2011, Studio 105 started out as a small home-based salon and has grown into the full-service salon, barbershop, and spa they are today. According to their website, in addition to their regular services, Studio 105 also offers a wide range of specialty services, including hair tattooing, hot shaves, balayage, sombre, waxing, massage, facials, and a variety of hair extensions to suit your needs and lifestyle.

Their team is made up of talented, independent stylists, each running their own business while sharing the same love of making everyone look and feel their best. Mudita believes great hair starts with being seen, heard, and understood. That’s why they focus on a personalized, one-on-one experience that’s never overwhelming or rushed.

According to their Facebook Page, Ritual Salon & Spa is a unique salon and spa boutique featuring Davines hair and skin products. Along with their hair services, Ritual also offers microblading/powder brows, gel & acrylic nails, classic & hybrid lashes, and more.
