Centennial Park parkour structures closed for maintenance

The City of Fort St. John has closed off parkour structures in Centennial Park for summer maintenance on August 7th and 8th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Play structures in Centennial Park are out of order until the weekend for summer maintenance. 

According to a social media post from the City of Fort St. John recreation department at 12 p.m. on August 7th, the parkour area in Centennial Park is currently closed for repairs. 

Caution tape has been erected around the structures, and residents are asked to stay away from the space until workers are finished and the tape is removed.

The city explained workers will be conducting summer maintenance on the structures throughout today, and into tomorrow, August 8th.
