Pre-trial conferences rescheduled for four arrested in February
Pre-trial conferences for four people arrested in Fort St. John in February after an RCMP operation to recover a truck have been rescheduled for August 27th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Pre-trial conferences for four individuals arrested in Fort St. John earlier this year have been rescheduled for late August.
Gavin Davis, Jack Capot Blanc, Barbara Reno and Jakob Sherwood were all arrested early in 2025 following an RCMP operation to recover a truck that had been reported as stolen.
In late July, Court Services Online (CSO) indicated the quartet had pre-trial conferences scheduled for Friday, August 1st.

Pre-trial conferences are held to go over information such as disclosure of the Crown’s evidence, planned witnesses, any admissions either party is willing to make and whether it’s possible to settle the matter without a trial.
CSO now says the August 1st date was adjourned by a judge or justice. According to the website, the quartet now have their conferences scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th.
Davis is facing charges of possession of stolen property, robbery, aggravated assault, breaching a release order, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and two counts of using an imitation firearm to commit an indictable offence.
Capot Blanc, meanwhile, has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, using an imitation firearm to commit an indictable offence, robbery, aggravated assault, possession of stolen property and breaching a probation order.
Latest Stories
Reno faces charges of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and possession of stolen property, while Sherwood has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault and possession of stolen property.
A fifth person was arrested alongside Davis, Capot Blanc, Reno and Sherwood, however all charges against them have since been dropped.
