The project is fully funded by a $100,000 Government of Canada Agriculture and Agri-Food grant, with $70,000 allocated for the greenhouse and $30,000 for site preparation such as foundation construction, landscaping, flooring and the purchase of tables and benches.

The new greenhouse will be 16 feet high, 9.5 feet wide and 27 feet long, approximately two thirds the size of the existing community greenhouse, and will be located near the Lone Wolf Golf Club on 99th Avenue.

The district stated there was no specific timeline for the project, however intentions are to have construction concluded by the end of the year and available to the public for the 2026 gardening season.
