Traffic circle in Dawson Creek to close during repairs

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Road work on a Dawson Creek traffic circle is expected to cause traffic delays in the city. 

According to DriveBC, the traffic circle connecting Alaska Avenue, Highway 49 and 8th Street will be closed for island repairs on Wednesday, July 16th, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists are asked to take alternative routes and follow detour signs as streets nearby may not be accessible.

People driving heavy trucks are advised to avoid Dawson Creek by using the Dangerous Goods Route, Rolla Road and 210 Road.
