Fort St. John entrants eliminated from Inked Originals tattoo competition

Fort St. John’s Kyle Monteith and Mitch Shyanne have also been eliminated from the Inked Originals ‘Tell Your Story in Ink’ competition 2025.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — All Fort St. John residents who competed in the Inked Originals ‘Tell Your Story in Ink’ competition were eliminated in the quarter finals after failing to receive enough votes. 

The eventual winner of the competition will receive $25,000, get a tattoo session with Inked Originals tattoo artist Bang Bang and be featured in Inked magazine.

He said if he managed to win, he would have used the money to help those struggling with substance abuse.

Meanwhile, Mitch Shyanne placed 11th and previously said if he won, he would donate the winnings to the Charlie Lake Firefighters Association and invest in his fitness brand business, Malo.

Many of Shyanne’s tattoos were done by himself, as he was a tattoo artist in his youth. The tattoos include a compass on his hand, a clock on his chest, a scripture on his ribs and more.

Fort St. John’s Amber Lindley came seventh in her group and did not advance to the quarter finals.

Voting for the quarter finals of the ‘Tell Your Story in Ink’ competition ended on June 26th.
