Search continues for missing man believed to be using backroads to get to Fort Nelson

The Prince George RCMP are searching for a missing man, Ravinder Singh, who is believed to be using backroads to get to Fort Nelson.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — A missing person is believed to be heading towards Fort Nelson via the backroads. 

Ravinder Singh, 20, was first reported missing by family members on April 2nd, and Prince George RCMP media relations officer Jennifer Cooper says missing persons units have been “working diligently” to uncover further information.

“His last known sighting was at 5:10 p.m. on April 2nd, when he was observed cycling northbound on the Hart Highway near Christopher Drive,” said Cooper.

According to a press release on May 2nd, investigators now have a more detailed description of Singh’s clothing and bicycle, which may help the public in identifying him if he is seen.

The Prince George man was wearing a black bomber-style jacket with a pink shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap. 

He had a pair of black hiking boots on and a grey Raleigh helmet with a red light on the back. He also wore a black backpack with camping gear attached.

Singh is said to be riding a dark grey Raleigh bicycle.  Anyone with information about Singh or his whereabouts is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
