Fort St. John Sunrise Rotary Club to celebrate 25th anniversary

The Fort St. John Sunrise Rotary Club will celebrate its 25th anniversary starting May 16th with a weekend of pancake breakfasts, dinners and cocktails.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — People are invited to celebrate the Fort St. John Sunrise Rotary Club’s 25th year with a weekend of pancake breakfasts, dinners, dancing and fun this May. 

According to its Facebook page, the Rotary Club is “made up of community-minded members working hard to give back locally and internationally.” It meets every Wednesday at the Northern Grand Hotel.

Starting May 16th at 5:30 p.m., the public is welcome to a registration meet, followed by cocktails and a barbecue from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On May 17th, a pancake breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. 

Celebrations will conclude with another pancake breakfast on May 18th. 

The event will be held at the Fort St. John Curling Club at 9504 96th Street.

Registration is required and costs $75 per person.
