FSJ Women’s Resource Society offers free support to Veronica Apartments fire victims

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Residents displaced by the fire over the Easter long weekend are being urged to look towards the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society for help.

The organization announced on social media April 24th that it’s offering support for people affected by the fire, which saw the apartment complex on 103rd Avenue burn down on April 18th.

“We offer free clothing, hygiene products and food to whoever needs it,” the post reads.

The organization operates out of 9908 96th Avenue, which is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon.

The facility is open to men on Wednesdays, and to women and children during the rest of the week. 

“Everything has been donated by our caring community,” it adds.
