“NLC thanks ESN for their invaluable contributions and collaborative efforts in shaping the program into what it is today,” said NLC.

According to NLC, the transition is the start of its broader vision for sport and recreation, with more strategies coming for its speedskating program and other recreational opportunities.

“These initiatives aim to promote physical wellbeing, skill development and a sense of community among students at every level,” the announcement says.

Coaches Clayton Moore and Stef Moore will also remain with the program in order to bring the college’s athletes to new heights.

“Leanne, Clayton and Stef are a fantastic team who will provide the stability and expertise necessary to elevate the program,” says Stanley-Drew.

“This is just one piece of a larger vision to offer a wide range of athletic and recreational activities for our students.”
