A bi-annual fundraising event from the 100 Women who Care non-profit is returning to the Lido this March for its first event of 2025.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The next installment of a bi-annual non-profit fundraiser is coming to Fort St. John next week.
The first 100 Women Who Care event of 2025 is coming up on March 11th at the Lido Theatre in Fort St. John.
A non-profit organization focused on supporting local communities, 100 Women Who Care aims to fundraise at least $10,000 at each event it hosts and then hold a vote to determine which nominated organization will receive the funds in full.

Announced on Facebook, the March event will feature three nominee organizations based in Fort St. John presenting to attendees about their groups.
March 2025’s nominees are the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society, North Peace Pregnancy Care Centre and the Fort St. John Senior Citizen’s Association.
Bailey Ryder, a member of the committee involved with organizing 100 Women Who Care, explained the events are organized twice a year in March and September.
“Everyone loves volunteering, donating, but [donating] that $50 doesn’t really go far,” Ryder said.
