Reid Graham officially declared winner of PRRD Area B director by-election

The Peace River Regional District has officially declared Reid Graham as its new Area B director following a by-election in February 2025.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has officially declared Reid Graham as its new Area B director.

On Tuesday, February 25th at roughly 3:00 p.m., the district posted the final results for its by-election on February 22nd, declaring Graham elected after he received the most votes.

Advance voting results, posted on the 23rd, also indicated Graham would win. He ultimately won with 204 votes compared to 102 for fellow candidate Madeleine Lehmann.

The PRRD held the by-election when former director Jordan Kealy resigned after winning in the 2024 provincial election. 

Kealy is now the MLA for Peace River North, as part of the Conservative Party of B.C.
