Slippery conditions across Highway 97, reports DriveBC
Motorists in the Peace region are being urged to drive carefully along the Alaska Highway.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Motorists in the Peace region are being urged to drive carefully along the Alaska Highway.
DriveBC is reporting slippery conditions across huge sections of Highway 97.Â
According to the website, drivers are advised to watch out for slippery sections beginning 24 kilometres south of Wonowon and continuing all the way to 100 Mile House.

An Environment Canada snowfall warning was also in effect for several hours during the morning of January 23rd for the Pine Pass stretch of the highway, south of Chetwynd.
According to DriveBC, no road closures or delays are currently in effect as a result of the slippery conditions.
