Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the area, saying a “frontal system” is pushing into the region from the southwest.

That system is expected to bring roughly ten centimetres of snowfall, beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing into the morning of Thursday, January 16th, before dissipating into flurries Thursday afternoon.

Visibility is expected to be impacted by the snowfall, and motorists are being warned to drive carefully and to be ready to adapt to changing road conditions.
