In her biography, Lehmann expresses her passion for the region and its residents which has grown from her 30 years in the community.

“Originally we ran a 100 cow dairy in Cecil Lake for 20 years, before converting to a grain and cattle operation in 2013. I believe that gives me first hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that our area faces,” Lehmann wrote.

Lehmann is currently a member of the Peace River North School District 60 Board of Trustees, and is the district’s representative for the BC Public School Employers’ Association.
