Most-Read Stories of the Week

It’s always interesting to see what the readers of Energeticcity.ca are most curious about. Sometimes it’s a big decision that will impact property taxes, and sometimes it’s a new restaurant coming to town. Here are the most-read stories for the week of November 24 to 30, 2024:

  1. Missing Hiker Found: near the Fort Nelson area. Sam Benastick was reported missing on October 19, 2024, and was found on November 26 on the Redfern Lake trail.
  2. The Alaska Highway Was Closed: on November 25, 2024, near Shepherds Inn due to a collision. The highway was reopened on November 26.
  3. RCMP Investigating Fatal Crash: that occurred in Fort St John on November 25, 2024. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second driver was rushed to Fort St John Hospital with injuries. Anyone with information is urged to contact Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
