Public feedback invited on development variance permit application

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has announced its intent to consider approving a development variance permit for a property development.

In a Facebook post published on October 31st, the PRRD detailed an application from property located in Fort St. John, Lot J Block 2 Section 35 Township 83 Range 19, West of the Sixth Meridian.

The post explained that the applicant ‘wants to vary the interior and rear parcel line setbacks to place a 60-foot manufactured home on the property.’

The line setback reduction would be 9 feet, altering the setback to 8 feet from the current setback of 17 feet. 

Residents can submit written feedback to the PRRD until 4 p.m. on November 6th. Documents open to the public relevant to this notice can be viewed at the Peace River Regional District Office at 1981 Alaska Avenue in Dawson Creek from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
