FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The District of Taylor has announced it is seeking applications to fill a pair of two-year positions on the Taylor Public Library Board.

On October 21st, the district announced intentions to fill two vacancies for the Taylor Public Library Board in a Facebook post.

The two two-year terms start on December 1st, 2024, and conclude on November 30th, 2026 and consist of attending monthly meetings.

The five-member board consists of four community members and one council member, and acts as a decision-maker for the library. The board is also responsible for creating its own policies and procedures for operations for the library.

Residents of Taylor can submit their applications and letter of interest by November 8th at the library, the District Office or directly to Mike Whalley via mwhalley@districtoftaylor.com.
