FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Peace River South’s Conservative Party candidate in the 2024 provincial election is expected to represent the area in the legislative assembly.

According to preliminary election results on October 19th, Larry Neufeld unofficially received approximately 70 per cent of the vote.

Incumbent Independent candidate Mike Bernier, who ran against Neufeld, received approximately 24 per cent of votes from electors in Peace River South.

The official final vote count will be released on October 23rd.
