“In light of the situation, I’m reaching out to request donations to aid my sister [Tate’s mother Charlene] with the costs associated with this unforeseen circumstance,” Cole says on the GoFundMe page launched on September 9th.

“The financial support will be utilized to cover hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation, enabling my sister to stay by her son’s side during his recovery.”

As of 12:00 p.m. on September 10th, the GoFundMe has raised $2,875 out of its $5,000 goal.
