UPDATE: The missing man has been found safe, according to the RCMP. Information used to identify him in the article below has been removed.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Wood Buffalo RCMP officers say a missing man from Fort McMurrary has been found safe.

The man was reportedly last heard from last week before being reported missing.

He was reportedly found safe on August 27th.

Police are thanking the public and media for their assistance in the search.
