Upcoming road improvements announced for Fort St. John

The City of Fort St. John has announced a list of upcoming repaving projects that will be completed in 2024.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John has announced a list of upcoming repaving projects that will be completed in 2024. 

In a Facebook post on July 18th, the city explained that crews will be repaving and replacing concrete curbing around the city. 

These streets include part of 114A Avenue, 99 Avenue between 108 Street and 102 Street and 84 Street from 100 Avenue to 93 Avenue.

Work has already begun near Centennial Park and the Fort St. John North Peace Museum, where curbing repairs will be ongoing throughout the rest of the week. 

The post did not provide specific start dates or durations for the other repaving locations.

The city reminds motorists to exercise caution when iterating with repair crews near and on active roads.
