Dawson Creek remains identified as missing woman Renee Didier
Dawson Creek RCMP officers say the remains found near the Kiskatinaw River earlier in May have been identified as Renee Didier.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Dawson Creek RCMP officers say the remains found near the Kiskatinaw River earlier in May have been identified as Renee Didier.
Didier was reported missing by her friends and family on December 7th, 2023, after she was last seen on December 2nd in Dawson Creek.
Several search parties were organized in an effort to locate Didier, and a $16,200 reward was being offered for information leading to her whereabouts.
Didier’s remains were found by an industrial worker on May 18th, 2024 at the end of Parkland Pit Road.
She was 40 years old.
The Dawson Creek RCMP detachment says the BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
