Recycling station to be relocated in Hudson’s Hope

To mitigate the attraction of dangerous wildlife, the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is moving an unattended recycling station in Hudson’s Hope.

HUDSONS HOPE, B.C. — To mitigate the attraction of dangerous wildlife, the Peace River Regional District ( PRRD) is moving an unattended recycling station in Hudson’s Hope.

As of May 7th, the Legacy Market in Hudson’s Hope will be relocated to the district’s transfer station at 20318 Canyon Road. 

According to a press release, the PRRD felt the decision was necessary to mitigate the attraction of dangerous wildlife to a public area.

“The PRRD would like to express our gratitude to the public for their understanding and cooperation. Your patience is greatly appreciated,” the release said.

Updates on solid waste services in the district can be found on the PRRDs’ website, social media, or North East BC (NEBC) alerts.
