Canfor Peace Woodlands Forest Operations Map

As of April 1st, 2024, Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) holders are required through the Forest and Range Practices Act (FRPA) to publish a Forest Operations Map (FOM) of proposed cutting and road permits. Proposed cutting and road permits contained within this FOM have a 3-year validity period to apply for cutting permits and road permits.

Canadian Forest Products Ltd. participates in holding an FSP that includes the management of Tree Farm License #48, therefore a FOM will be published for public review and comment. This FOM will include 4 years of planned harvesting. To view and submit comments on the FOM, please visit the new online portal located at https://fom.nrs.gov.bc.ca/public/projects.

Alternatively, an appointment can be made with Carmen Anderson at 250-990-0015, BC between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM at 9312-259 Road, Fort St. John, BC to view the Forest Operation Map.

Comments can be submitted through the online FOM portal at https://fom.nrs.gov.bc.ca/public/projects, by email sent to Donovan.Wilkinson@canfor.com and Carmen.Anderson@canfor.com, or by mail addressed to Canadian Forest Products Ltd., Attention: Carmen Anderson, 9312-259 Road, Fort St. John, BC V1J 8J9.

Public review and commenting are available for 30 days beginning April 1st, 2024, and will close on May 1st, 2024.
