FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed out in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial court from March 11th to 15th.

Fort St. John Provincial Court

Ian Cory Apsassin (born 1978)

Apsassin was handed one year of probation for assault. 

Lance Alexis Corey Davis (born 1991)

Davis was handed a one-year probation order for theft of $5,000 or under.

Rory Daniel Friesen (born 1980)

Friesen was fined $2,000, handed a one-year criminal driving ban, and assessed a $600 victim surcharge for refusing to provide a breath sample. 

Lorne Marshall Hussey (born 1961)

Hussey was fined $2,000, handed a nine-month criminal driving ban, and assessed a $600 victim surcharge for refusing to provide a breath sample. 

Jessica Dawne Ann Hansen (born 1977)

Hansen was fined $500 and assessed a $75 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence. 

Ashley Margaret Marie McLeod (born 1987)

McLeod was handed 18 months of probation for mischief to property over $5,000. 

Karl Marc Schaefer (born 1996)

Schaefer was fined $500 and assessed a $75 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence. 

Trevor Dayton Williams (born 1974)

Williams was fined $1,000 and assessed a $150 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited. One year of probation was also given for driving while disqualified. Williams received a one-year criminal driving ban and a year of probation for another charge of driving while disqualified. 

Dawson Creek Provincial Court

Katelynn Irene Eftodie (born 1991)

Eftodie was handed a five-month conditional sentence and a one-year probation order for breaching probation. 

Shane Dennis Hora (born 1970)

Hora was handed a 45-day conditional sentence and one year of probation for assault with a weapon.
