MLA Dan Davies to discuss 2024 BC budget at Fort Nelson town hall
Peace River North MLA Dan Davies is hosting a community town hall this week in Fort Nelson to discuss the provincial government’s 2024 budget.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — Peace River North MLA Dan Davies is hosting a community town hall this week in Fort Nelson to discuss the provincial government’s 2024 budget.
The event takes place on March 7th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Woodlands Inn at 3995 50th Avenue.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting to ask questions and discuss their issues and concerns on the budget and other topics with Davies.
The MLA has been critical of the budget, calling it reckless and offering no hope for British Columbians.
Davies says the budget is the largest deficit in B.C. history.
He says the best solution to the province’s problems would be reducing certain taxes and regulations to let businesses function.
In February, a few BC United shadow ministers joined Davies at a town hall in Fort St. John to discuss drugs and crime.
