FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The BC High School Rodeo Association North is holding a fundraiser gala later in February to raise money for their rodeos this year.

The event will feature live and silent auctions, raffles, dinner with music by Darion Wray and a dance with music from Country Horizon Sounds.

Cali Schippman was crowned the 2023 BC High School Rodeo Association queen last June and said she serves her role by representing the association and educating the public about the sport and western heritage.

Shelby Corr, another association member, said residents can find more information on their Facebook page and website.

The event will occur at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Centre at 11308 Alaska Road at 5:30 p.m. on February 24th.

Tickets are available for $80 per person at the Dawson Creek Vet Clinic and 8 Seconds Western Wear in Fort St. John.
