UPDATE: Snowfall warning ended for South Peace River Region

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning in the South Peace River Region for Monday night into Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: The snowfall warning for the Pine Pass, Williston, Bulkley Valley, Lakes District, McGregor region and South Peace River Region has ended.

CHETWYND, B.C. — Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning in the South Peace River Region for Monday night that ended late Tuesday afternoon.

Environment Canada said approximately 10 centimetres was expected near Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge.

The snowfall warning issued on Monday for the Pine Pass, Williston, Bulkley Valley, Lakes District and McGregor has also ended.

Environment Canada warns that accumulated snow could make travel difficult over some locations and recommends drivers adjust to road conditions.

DriveBC has several road condition warnings across the northeast, including slippery sections and blowing snow on Highways 29, 97, 52N, 52E, 2, 49 and 77, as well as Cecil Lake Road.
