Fort St John Today: Let’s Talk Hockey

Hi everybody,

Let’s talk today about a Canadian classic: hockey! Like most small towns and cities in our cold country, hockey is a big deal in Fort St John. Not only do we have our robust minor leagues​, we also have our bigger teams with the Huskies​ and Senior Flyers​.

A big hockey tournament coming up soon is the Crystal Cup Pond Hockey Challenge and Sid Davis Youth Memorial. This event takes place on Charlie Lake and is always a good time for players and watchers alike. Registration is open if you have a team and there is a volunteer information session this Sunday if you want to lend a hand.​
