Family takes matters into their own hands in search for missing Cole Hosack
An official search for missing Cole Hosack has been organized by his mother and is set to take place on Monday.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — An official search for missing Cole Hosack has been organized by his mother and is set to take place on Monday.
Cole was last seen at LoneStar Nightlife in Dawson Creek on New Year’s.
Julie Hosack is organizing the search to begin at 10 a.m. on January 15th at the Dawson Creek Memorial Arena, 1107 106th Avenue. Those who wish to help are asked to check in at the “headquarters” upstairs.

The latest search follows one organized by Cole’s girlfriend, Morgan Crawford, held on January 5th.
Crawford says the RCMP initially asked them to call off the search on Monday, so they did at first.
“Julie has decided since the RCMP have been no help to us and have given us no answers or help with Cole’s disappearance, said Crawford.

“We will be moving forward and doing our own searching and investigating.”
Crawford thanked the multitude of Dawson Creek community members who have helped his family by searching, hanging up posters, donating and speaking about Cole.
Radios, maps, missing person posters, safety vests, whistles, food and drinks will be provided.
“Please help us bring him home to his baby boy who is desperately missing him,” Julie said.
A family friend has set up a GoFundMe for Cole’s toddler as well as to fund the search efforts, which is sitting at $4,400 since its creation five days ago.
