FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Co-op Community Christmas concert raised $5,000 for a local non-profit Tuesday night.

Every year, one local organization is selected to receive the event’s ticket sales. This year, the general manager of the Fort St. John Co-op, Brad Lussier, chose the Women’s Resource Society.

The event took place at The Lido on Tuesday night, raising $2,155 from ticket sales.

Acts included Lucas and Abby Wuthrich from Sasaki Piano Studio, Joseph Te Bulte and Dan Smart, and Johnny and The Guns for Hire.

Volunteers from the Women’s Resource Society also attended, helping to seat guests and clean up after the show.
