Fort St. John chamber of commerce announces directors for 2023 to 2024

The Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of five new directors and eight directors’ return for 2023 to 2024.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of five new directors and eight directors’ return for 2023 to 2024.

The new directors are Kyle Leahy, Deena Del Giusto, Scott Wisdahl, Kevin Willeboordse and Sarah Dickie.

Adam Reaburn is the outgoing president, and Mitchel Chilcott is the incoming president.

The returning directors are Brad Lussier, Jennifer Snider, Raj Sureddy, Chuck Fowler, Vince van Wieringen and Carina Wallis.

Kathleen Connolly, CEO of the local chamber of commerce, wrote that the directors’ backgrounds and experience will bring a wealth of knowledge to the chamber.

The directors will work with Connolly, existing board members, and the chamber of commerce’s membership to provide guidance and support initiatives and ensure the chamber will be a voice for the area’s businesses.

“We are thrilled to welcome the new Directors to our Board,” said Connolly. 

“Their leadership skills and community knowledge will undoubtedly strengthen our organization’s ability to serve our members and drive economic prosperity in our community.”

The chamber also expressed its gratitude to the outgoing directors, Evan Jeanotte, Peta Best, and Justin McKinnon, for their contributions.
