Drivers warned of maintenance scheduled for Taylor Bridge

Maintenance is set to take place on the Taylor Bridge starting on the evening of March 20th and lasting into the early morning hours of March 21st.

TAYLOR, B.C. — Those commuting throughout the Peace region will want to pay attention to springtime maintenance on the Taylor Bridge this coming weekend.

Dawson Road Maintenance announced in a Facebook post that crews will be working throughout Friday evening, March 20th, beginning at 7 p.m.

Roadwork is expected to last until around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21st, according to the post.

Traffic on the bridge will be down to alternating single-lane traffic throughout the work, with a pilot car navigating, and those driving should expect delays.

Additionally, trucks with a width greater than 12.6 feet (3.85 metres) will be unable to cross during the maintenance and will need to wait until work is completed.
