FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Northern Bottling holiday Coca-Cola truck is stopping in Fort St. John on Thursday evening.

This is the second consecutive year the truck has been in the Peace region, as Northern Bottling just received the truck in 2022, said sales supervisor Theresa Powell.

“We’re just starting to get it out and about. We’re trying to get into all the communities that we service with Northern Bottling and Coca-Cola products,” Powell said.

Northern Bottling, based out of Grande Prairie, services northwestern Alberta and northeastern B.C.

The sales supervisor says they park the truck somewhere visible from the road and have it lit up for people to come and take pictures. The truck will be stopped at Safeway in Fort St. John from 5:30 p.m. until about 7 p.m. on November 30th.

Powell says they’ll be handing out candy canes and mini Coca-Cola cans as well as taking pictures of people with the truck.

“We’re just trying to get out there and bring a little bit of the holidays out to the customers, and it’s something fun to look at,” Powell said.

The Northern Bottling holiday Coca-Cola truck started its tour on November 24th in Grande Prairie and has already stopped in Peace River and Chetwynd.
