Dinosaur Lake ATV Campground final phase completed

The construction of the Dinosaur Lake ATV campground has been completed, announced the District of Hudson’s Hope.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The District of Hudson’s Hope announced the completion of the third and final phase of the Dinosaur Lake ATV Campground on October 10th. 

Dinosaur Lake ATV Campground entered the construction phase in early 2022, and half of the park opened for campers on July 16th, 2022, once Phase 1 and 2 of the project were completed. 

The third and last phase of construction was completed in August 2023 and included the other half of the park, the installation of outhouses, picnic shelters, garbage and recycling bins, picnic tables, fire rings and signage.

In a release, the district thanked the South Peace Mackenzie Trust for a $112,500 grant, which allowed the district to complete Phase 3 and open the entire park. 

Saulteau First Nations was also thanked for their support during the project.

“The District of Hudson’s Hope is proud to add the Dinosaur Lake ATV Campground as a camping option for residents and visitors to the area,” said a release.
