Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC announces Fort St. John business owner as new president

A local business owner was recently announced as the new president of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A local business owner was recently announced as the new president of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC.

Angèle Heinrichs, the owner of Angèle’s Drafting & Design in Fort St. John, replaces Shay Bulmer of Northern Homecraft in Vanderhoof as the association’s president. Bulmer will remain active in the role of past president.

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC started as the Prince George Contractor’s Association in 1958, with goals to bring builders and trades together, stability to the building community and recognition to membership.

After a couple of name changes, the association’s building was purchased in Prince George in 1995, and the name was changed to the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC in 2007.

The rest of the association’s 2023-2024 board of directors are:
