Whitford is currently studying engineering at UBC’s Okanagan Campus, hoping to specialize in electrical or mechanical engineering.

With an interest in designing, and creating an impact, aviation is a field Whitford would like to pursue in the future as well.

“Aviation is definitely something I’m interested in and something to explore down the road,” said Whitford.
