FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Northern Health is seeking interested parties, including non-profits, to provide Meals On Wheels to about 40 clients in the Fort St. John area.
Northern Health is looking for a new provider after Aniela’s Kitchen decided to step down at the end of the month due to the program’s cost to her business.
According to Northern Health, the health authority supports meal preparation and delivery costs under a contract.
The provider would need to offer the services Monday through Friday, provide a variety of meal types in correlation with Canada’s Food Guide and ensure safe delivery to clients’ homes.
For more information on providing the program, interested parties can contact Northern Health Community Services by emailing sherry.sawka@northernhealth.ca.
